CEI at Norwood ESOL

CEI's Cindy Matloff recently provided students of the Norwood Adult ESOL Program with a presentation on How to be an Empowered Consumer. The students come from 26 different countries and currently reside in Norwood, Canton, Sharon, Stoughton and Walpole. The lively interactive workshop focused on understanding your rights when buying goods and services, recognizing deceptive business practices, and knowing where to go for help when problems arise. Shopping rights, Internet Safety, Credit, and Car Buying were some of the topics explored.
